In March 2010, we had a wonderful opportunity to paint the interior and exterior of the historic Derby House, a architectural landmark in Glendale, designed by Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright, in 1926. This was the second time we were asked to paint the building, this time to prepare it for a tour for architecture students. The interior color was selected by a famous decorator who chose paint imported from Ireland. For the exterior, it was a challenge for our painters to paint around the striking stone facades. We hope to continue to help preserve a great piece of local history.
