SO happy with this experience!  Mr. James Lee showed up at my door precisely at the appointment time, and was very charming.  I was pleased with the estimate for interior work–3 bedrooms, one laundry room and the ceiling of a family room.  Scheduling is easy and they are very responsive.  The crew is so considerate and polite and quiet and they do a really beautiful job.  They took great care to cover the floors, mask everything off, moved furniture, thoroughly patched up the many holes I’ve made from hanging artwork.  They all showed up at exactly 8 am as planned.  They even wore protective covering on their shoes because it was raining.  Fantastic company, highly recommend.

Don’t even think about using anyone else!  I have used James Lee House Painting several times.  I was first impressed when he came out for the estimate, that he voluntarily shows his license, recommendations, and pictures of his work.  I can tell you that he does the best job possible.  Don’t let a cheaper quote from someone else fool you.  James and his crew does the best job possible and I will not consider using anyone else.  Another amazing thing, is that ALL of his crews, do the same high quality work that equal the high standard that James believes in.  I have had other work done by contractors where the contractor does good work and has high standards, but the workers don’t.  With James Lee painting, all the workers perform the same high quality job.  Amazing!  You get what you pay for, and with James Lee, you will get the best job possible that will last a very long time!

James and his crew did a fantastic job painting my house.  They were professional, efficient and friendly from day one through to the end of the job.  I had been putting off painting the exterior of my house because I thought it would be a big hassle.  I was very pleasantly surprised.  James and crew came every morning when they said they would and they meticulously prepared my house before painting and now that they are done I have a beautifully painted house that looks like new.  I would recommend House Painting Inc to anyone who wants to have their house painted.

James Lee and his crews are the very best. I have hired them twice in the past four years to paint various rooms in my townhouse and I just hired them again to paint additional rooms next week.  They are on time, knowledgeable, clean, neat, friendly and go above and beyond when needed. I trust their expertise and have not been disappointed.  I have referred them to a good friend for exterior house painting and my friend was delighted with the work. All in all – this is a trustworthy company. They do what they say they will do. So important and sometimes hard to find. I recommend them highly.

These painters did an excellent job of preparation and painting our house. They are a thorough hard working crew, and we are very happy with the result.  You realize pretty quickly when you see the estimate, with everything you want spelled out, that you are dealing with a professional. Oh and his 2 sons painted the exterior of our house along with the fence and deck.  They were very pleasant to work with and had a really great attitude the entire time.  We set up an appointment with them to test our color options (they use Dunn Edwards), and they were on time.  They painted samples on the side of the house so we could see what the colors looked like on the wall (stucco).  They were very patient as we decided which colors to go with.  Our house is 2 stories but because it’s on a hill, the back is almost 4 stories tall.  They provided a recommendation of a scaffolding company.  The entire job took about a week.  They did a great job, and we definitely recommend them to others.  We really enjoyed working with them.

I did my research and found House Painting Inc to be highly regarded.  The day after I called James came to my home and gave me an estimate.  He showed my his book of unsolicited letters written to him back in the days before online ratings became popular.  One of the letters was from a VP at my employer who is extremely fussy and a true perfectionist.  If he liked the work, that was all I needed. My property (plants, window glass, metal window frames, hardscape) were all protected very carefully.  There wasn’t a drop of paint where it didn’t belong.  Inside the house he stripped wallpaper, patched and painted a small bathroom also.  The bathroom was also done with same high level of workmanship.  That was over 5 years ago.

2 weeks ago I needed to get an interior ceiling patched and painted really quick.  James’ associate Jay, I believe, came out the same day I called and told me he could do the job the next day and gave me a firm price.  It was probably a little unusual for him to be able to do the job so quickly but I was grateful his schedule permitted.  Same clean, neat, high quality workmanship as the previous job.  Highly recommended!

I was going to write this review the day they started because everything was so well done. They said it would take 10 days, they took 6 (even with a day of rain.) These guys are amazing, clean efficient, kind, I highly recommend them. Thanks to Yelp for helping me find them.
