Mr. Lee gives a detailed and accurate estimate of work to be done. His crews are professional, timely, and meticulous in their work. Mr. Lee has done three painting jobs for us over the course of four years. He is the first and only call we make a painting job.

Outstanding work at a very competitive price.
Mr. Lee came out and gave us a bid within a week of contacting him. The painters finished the complete interior of our townhome in just four days, and showed careful attention to detail — clean edge-lines and complete surface coverage everywhere. The 14′ living room ceiling? Not a problem. Touch-up our vaulted MBR ceiling? Not a problem.
They went above and beyond, careful to match the accent colors we wanted, and always willing to fix any small item quickly and with a smile. Mr. Kim and his crew were careful guests in our home — cooperative, courteous and always respectful of our property.
For their pride in their work, their professionalism, and the outstanding results — I am glad to recommend House Painting Inc. From start to finish, this was a great experience.

James Lee and his team are deserving of every single 5 Star Review on here. Sandy and her husband painted multiple rooms in my home and I would call them again in a heartbeat. They have been painting together for twenty years and they were both professional and personable. Sandy worked with me to find the exact color I wanted and allowed me to sample multiple shades for review. James Lee showed me a binder with his many happy clients. Even Mr. God wrote him a letter!! Don’t think twice — give them a ring!

I haven’t worked with many painting companies but Jame’s service definitely met my expectations. He answers his phone right away and address all my issues. He clearly explains the painting process and explains what to expect.
Pro:
– transparency and clarity on the product used and communicated painting process
– available to start project within a few days
– flexible and willing to work with my schedule
– painters are all super friendly. It is rare to have all workers greet you in the mornings when they show up. We had 3 interior painters and 3 for exterior (different teams) and all 6 people were great.
– They clean up at the end of everyday and stored everything to the side. This was helpful because we lived in the house while the painting was going on.
Con:
– the only thing I wish was different would be for the interior painters to be more meticulous. They missed painting molding in the closet under my stairs and a strip of wall that was next to a cabinet. However, once I pointed it out, the painters jumped on it right away and made sure I was completely satisfied. Ideally I would like to not have to double check their work. Hence, 1 star deduction.

James Lee and his crews are the very best. I have hired them twice in the past four years to paint various rooms in my townhouse and I just hired them again to paint additional rooms next week. They are on time, knowledgeable, clean, neat, friendly and go above and beyond when needed. I trust their expertise and have not been disappointed. I have referred them to a good friend for exterior house painting and my friend was delighted with the work. All in all – this is a trustworthy company. They do what they say they will do. So important and sometimes hard to find. I recommend them highly.

Sang and Mauricio showed up on time everyday. They asked what we wanted in a non hurried and professional way. They took their time and did very detailed work, They cleaned up after themselves daily. They controlled the spray and drips of their work so that nothing in the yard or the neighbor’s yard shows any signs of there having been painting going on. They explained and answered all of our questions. They were patient with our delays in color choice, rain and other projects going on around them. They were finished when they said and for the price quoted.
My wife said, “From now on, we should only hire contractors that are up to this standard.”
I agree.
We had James Lee House Painting paint our entire house, inside and out. They are very professional. I was especially impressed by how clean they are. They protect all surfaces and leave the work areas clean every evening. The workers were friendly and respectful. Our house has never looked better. James Lee himself provides the estimates and he is very fair. They provide all the materials, all you have to do is pick the color. He provides a written estimate within hours of visiting the job site.
I highly recommend them.

This is long overdue, but I am going to add to the chorus of praise for James Lee House Painting.
My house has a crappy spray on stucco that had been peeling off for some time. It wasn’t in my budget to scrape it all off and re-stucco the entire building, so James came out and suggested that they could scrape off the peeling areas and try as best they could to match the texture. All for a very reasonable price. After his famous presentation of his license and letters from his happy customers, I was sold.
Our crew’s foreman was Andrew and he was just great. They came on time every morning, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. If it weren’t for the fact that they kept some of their ladders in the backyard over night you couldn’t have guessed that there was work going on.
I understood fully that patching the stucco was not ideal, and Andrew kept reiterating that he would try his best but no promises. His best was amazing. I was blown away how well they were able to seamlessly match the texture. And from the looks of it the patches will likely last a very long time.
The new color on the house and trim came out amazing, too. We couldn’t be happier.
This was by far and away the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. I seriously wish James would expand his business to other areas of home improvement! He has earned my business for life.

I had selected this company after looking at Angie’s List, Yelp and Google Reviews a year ago.
When my mortgage refinance became final, I immediately contacted them to set up an exterior project.
James came back and gave me a new quote, including the repair of some eave boards. We agreed on the price and the following week they showed up on Monday.
Preparation includes sanding and repair of wood and plaster surfaces. Then, a primer over trouble areas and dark colors. By Wednesday, they were ready to get my color choices.
My first choices were given at the end of the day. I went online and saw that they weren’t exactly what I wanted, so I called their office and they adjusted the main color for me – no problem.
When I saw the main color on the house, I realized I had to change the accent color. I called their office, no problem.
They kept everything protected, were professional and highly efficient throughout. I would highly suggest this company for your exterior job.
