My experience with House Painting, Inc could only be described in one way, FANTASTIC! I first contacted them initially because of their excellent reviews on yelp where there were more than 120 5 star reviews. Of the few 1 star reviews, none complained about the quality of the work, only other administrative concerns. When I sent a message over Yelp, I was contacted back by right away by Mr. Lee, who said that he was available to come by for an estimate the next day, after business hours. He came on time, and we went on a tour of our home. He seemed genuine and honest about the work that needed to be done and the work that I wanted to be done. I felt no pressure to pay for work that was not necessary. He showed me photographs of the work as it would proceed and gave me a detailed time line of each step and finally, discussed with me the steps that House Painting, Inc would take to protect my landscaping and my property. He then showed me his documentation for his business, including the A+ rating on BBB, licensing and insurance documents for both his work and his employees. Mr. Lee has been in business for more than 30 years and had hundreds of letters that customers have written over the years attesting to the quality of his work. He gave me an estimate right away and was willing to negotiate with me when I had another estimate from another company that was a bit lower than the one I got from him. They were able to schedule the work within 2 weeks of my acceptance of the bid and there were absolutely no issues with the start date or time. The two painters who worked on my home were pleasant and professional, who asked me at each step along the way how I wanted the work done; he even repaired my garage door and removed old cables from the high eves! The only “hitch” along the way was at the end during the final walk through, I noticed a small bit of paint on one of the back window screens. When I went to inspect it, I discovered a small cut. When I explained to the painters that the windows were new and the cut had paint on it, they took the screen out and had it repaired RIGHT AWAY (as in brought it back in “good as new” condition the next morning)! Overall, I’m VERY satisfied with the work they did, especially given the condition of my house previously. I will definitely hire Mr. Lee again for future projects.
