This is the second time I’ve used House Painting owned by James Lee. They do an absolutely amazing job taking care of every detail and not leaving a drop of paint anywhere. They definitely go above and beyond to be sure my house is completely taken care of. I would never use any other painting company. They really know what they’re doing.
James Lee Painting did a fantastic job painting our older home. It had been far too long since we had it painted but now it looks clean and new! The painters were very pleasant, friendly, clean, professional, and polite. They checked in each day to make sure that we were fully satisfied. I will call them again for our next painting project!
Fantastic. These guys are total professionals. They did a walk thru, gave me a competitive estimate within an hour spelling out exactly what was and wasn’t included in the cost. Compared to other bids I got, these guys were the most comprehensive and professional out of the bunch. Quick responses, proactively provided me their licenses and referrals, etc.
Come day of, Sandy and her team were great. Everything was drop-clothed, taped, covered up. No issues whatsoever. She even suggested my paint colors which turned out beautifully. You’ve refreshed my house and I’m so grateful. I highly recommend and if I have a paint need in the future – they are now my go to.
These guys did a great job, and were able to accommodate me scheduling requests. First, James is pretty great when he does the estimate. You can tell he’s been doing this for a while, as he has his sales pitch down 100%.
Their pricing was competitive, but it was also pretty inclusive, so I didn’t have to worry too much about getting nickel’ed and dime’d. The crew I was assigned was led by a guy named Andrew. He’s been doing this for a while, and he was great as well.
The house has gotten us quite a few compliments, so the quality is there. The crew went above and beyond (in my opinion) to meet some of our requests (e.g., turning our black door into bright yellow).
The only challenge during the process was the language barrier. I’m personally not great at hearing through thick accents, so there were several points in my conversations with the company where I don’t think they knew what I was trying to say, and vice versa.
Nevertheless, the results speak for themselves. I’m super happy with the house.

You cannot go wrong with James Lee House Painting. Everyone in our neighborhood uses him. Thorough, helpful, dedicated, punctual – I can’t say enough good things.
Fortunately, my neighborhood uses the NextDoor app, which is where I find all referrals to handymen, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc. So many people recommended James and he didn’t disappoint.

From the consultation and estimate, to the prep work and final coat of paint – everyone was extremely courteous, professional and conscientious as well. Our interior walls were painted in our house and friends and family all notice how amazing the paint job came out! We highly recommend!!
Top top top notch. We couldn’t have been more impressed. We had a 3-person crew headed up by Andrew who has been painting homes and buildings for 26 years. They painted our 1400 sft Spanish Revival in about a week and it turned out incredible. Our house was in major disrepair and they spent about 3/4 of the time prepping the job – scraping, patching, priming, etc. The painting itself did not take that long and having said, it was done meticulously. They didn’t spill a drop. When the time comes, we are going to have them do our interior, as well. We couldn’t recommend this company enough.
Mr. Lee’s bid was competitive and thorough. His crew arrived on time every day. The crew leader made certain that he understood every area that was to be painted and what kinds of paint to use (gloss or flat) and was patient with my indecision about which colors to use. The crew covered every unpainted surface and then cleaned up when they were finished. The house looks great! They finished the job exactly when they said they would be done. I will definitely call on Mr. Lee again and highly recommend his painting services.
Great to work with. Was able to accommodate our schedule and also the timeline of our other contractor. They were able to work together at the same time as our roofer and finish in a timely matter.
Pricing was good and not pushy, was able to start immediately.
Finished job looked great, final walk through to inspect everything before they left.
These guys did a fantastic job! They were able to start the job almost immediately and finished it within a couple days. The paint job itself was clean and made the house look brand new. They were flexible and responsive. We would highly recommend them!
