Pressure washed house house, filled and repaired all wood and stucco. Water proofed stucco on bottom of house, sanded down all wood as needed. Painted french windows & doors, stucco, and stained the deck railing.

Our house was built in 1924 it has all the original French windows and some French doors. The house has approximately 250 individual panes of glass. This is an incredible amount of prep. Which was done professionally, timely and cleanly.The stucco is a very heavy and has an unusual texture (it looks like marshmallow cream) Living in an old house requires a lot of maintenance and I don’t always have the best experiences with contractors. With House Painting, I could not be happier. They were courteous and professional. The best part is they, did a fantastic job. They sealed, patched and repaired everything. I didn’t have to watch over them like a hawk to make sure they were not skimping or cheating the process. I come from a family of painters so I know good prep and a good paint job when I see one. All the little extras they did for me were icing on the cake. They even put up flashing where my gutters were. (I had them taken down so I could paint) I will definitely use them again and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you, James and Shin!

We had House Painting Inc prepare and paint a master bath, dressing room, and bedroom.

I called House Painting Inc for an estimate and Mr. James Lee arrived the very same day. After handing me his business card, we entered the bedroom area for the estimate. We had them begin the following week. Kim and another gentleman (whose name I regretfully did not get) arrived and quickly began working. I have to say that these two employees were the most polite, professional, and silent workers I have ever had in my home. I am 9 months pregnant and was able to take several much-needed naps while they were working without being worried or disturbed at all. It was honestly as if no one was even here. Whenever I ventured into the master bedroom to peek around, Kim would happily stop what he was doing to answer any questions and show me how things were coming along…he really is a very nice guy. As for the quality of the work, it was excellent. Our walls were very damaged and needed tons of cleaning, patching, and sanding. We also had some wallpaper removal done in the vanity area. I asked Kim to take the time to thoroughly TSP all of the glossy finishes so that the new coat would not peel (a problem we had with our previous painter), which he agreed to do for an additional $100.00. They patched and sanded everything to perfection, and even re-caulked our vanity countertop seams as they were dirty and cracking a bit–something they didn’t have to do. Going the extra mile with preparation is the key to a good paint job, and this was done very well. The paint went on just as flawlessly, and our new carpet was kept well protected throughout the entire process. After the job was finished, Mr. Lee contacted me to ensure I was satisfied and asked that I call him should I discover any problems or areas of concern. I doubt I will need to, as the quality of work is top notch. Thank you!

Painted the entire exterior of house, guest house and playhouse.

Mr. Lee came out for an estimate the morning I called. His crew was here to start the job two days later. Preparation was thorough and meticulous. They worked hard and fast for two days sanding, scraping and washing. I have never seen a better job of paint prep. The crew was courteous and thoughtful. They carefully took care of everything that needed to be protected. The entire job took five days. In the process they discovered areas of termite damage which required the services of a carpenter who they had to work around. Everything is now painted beautifully. I can’t imagine a better job.

The entire exterior of house and garage were painted by Mr. Lee’s employees.

Mr. Lee came out the day that I called to give me an estimate and started work the next week — working around recent rain. His crew came and prepared the house and garage for 2 days, sanding and priming and came back after it rained to finish the job. It took longer than it would have earlier in the year because of the rain, but I can’t imagine it going faster or more smoothly while being interrupted by rain. I am having other work done, replacing a leaky window, for example and adding security doors, so they will come back to do touch ups when all that is complete. Mr. Lee called to check on that work to schedule his workers as efficiently as possible. They even cleaned out the patio, saying that it would make their work look better when I thanked them for doing it. The house looks brand new.

James came out immediately and gave estimate for interior and exterior. Had to delay job because of economy and only painted exterior. Price remained the same for exterior. Three men spent three days sanding, scraping, patching. Did an excellent job; included garage door & 2 porches for $150 more; painted wrought iron railings. Paint coverage was excellent. Watch plants to make sure they are not damaged. Workers were polite and cleaned up afterwards. Went above and beyond by digging out a 2×4 ft. dead, overgrown planter box from side of house.

Due to the water damage, Mr Lee’s crew completed drywall repair in a bedroom closet as well as the guest bathroom. In addition, I had wallpaper that had been in the entryway and living room for 20+ years that needed removal and subsequently painted. Lastly, the water damage left stains on the ceiling, which were subsequently painted as well.

My townhome had experienced water damage earlier in March of this year. I contacted Mr. Lee, in addition to 3 other vendors to provide a quote. Mr. Lee was prompt in returning my call and I was extremely impressed with his estimate. The initial quote provided to me by Mr. Lee was subsequently reduced by a couple of hundred dollars on the final bid. Wow! How often does that happen even in this economy! House Painting Inc. was the complete package. The crew of two headed by Nam commenced the work the following week. They were prompt, professional and diligent workers. The prep was thorough and detail given to ensure that all the furniture was covered and edges taped. The wallpaper removal took only 2 days after which the walls were primed and painted to perfection. My ceilings were sprayed and the the drywall repair completed. The team completely removed the remnants of any mess. I was expecting the job to take 7 days. Work began on Tuesday morning and was done Friday of the same week. There is a patch of ceiling between the living room and loft that was overlooked. I am having new flooring installed and when I called Mr. Lee he ensured me that any touch up work would be completed after the floors are done. I highly recommend House Painting Inc. for all the qualities listed in the categories of price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. Thank you Mr. Lee for giving my home the “facelift” it sorely needed.

This is the best experience I’ve had with any sort of contractor. James, the owner, responded quickly to my call and came the same day to give me an estimate. We had both exterior painting and interior painting done and are equally happy with both. The crew for the outside was punctual, friendly and did excellent work. They also cleaned up and didn’t toss their mess into my flower beds which has happened with other contractors! The indoor crew was equally pleasant and professional. We had A LOT of trim and detail work done in our home and they were painstaking about covering things with plastic, putting paper down and, again, cleaning up after they had finished. The paint job itself looks fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I thought their price was extremely fair for the amount of work they did.
