Description Of Work:
Painting and repair work on an old, 1930s house (was in extremely poor condition). Interior work: wallpaper removal, revamping cabinets, repairing plaster and drywall damage, painting. Exterior: high pressured water on the walls, scraping old paint, fixing damaged stucco, finishing and painting deck, replacing siding, the works, etc.
Where to begin! Our longtime tenants had recently moved out of my rental home in LA, and it was in dire need of repair before it could be rented again. I was looking at house painting listings and called James to do the work and he did not disappoint. After giving us a fair quote, he got his crew to start working on the inside, taking down old wallpaper, repairing holes in the drywall that the tenants had left, and fixing damaged plaster areas. They also got going on the old kitchen cabinets, which looked BRAND NEW after they were painted, and painted the walls with a color James suggested, which gave the whole house a new atmosphere. On the outside, they cleared away debris with the pressured water and worked diligently to fix damaged stucco and peeling paint. The company’s true to its word on good prep work, and much of the job was in getting the house ready before any painting was done. They also replaced a number of rotting shingles and wood siding. These and the walls were painted in the exact shade I wanted, and now the place looks better than ever!! I’m excited to be able to rent it at a far higher price and will definitely work with House Painting Inc. again in the future.
