I am so happy with the turn out.  James came out in June and gave us the estimate and even though they had to wait over 2 month for us to get ready for the job, there was not problem with that.  When they did begin the job, Joe was the head of the  team.  He never left the sight.  Everything turned out great.  Even when I added a change in the plan, there was no problem with that.  The building looks great and I’m very happy with their work.  As a matter of fact, they just started work on another project for us.

I hired House Painting to paint the inside and outside of a rental house. They are extremely thorough and detail-oriented. They are the first painting company I have used in years who removed all the switch plates and face plates before they painted, and covered all the switches and sockets with tape to avoid getting paint on them. In addition, they did some small repairs that needed to be done before the house was really ready to be painted (replaced broken window pane, cleaned gutter, replaced some wallboard), removed wallpaper in a small bathroom, stored window screens to be brushed and reinstalled after painting. They started a couple of days after I hired them, showed up on time, did meticulous prep, tracked down hard-to-find style of wooden shingles, gave good advice on outside color choices, and cleaned up after themselves. I am now using them to paint another rental house and will use them on my own home when the time comes.

I have painted four houses in the past 10 years (some of them more than once)  and House Painting is my painter from now on.

Mr. Lee’s crew carefully covered the flooring, thermostat, and doorknobs and removed vents, wall plates and fixtures. They removed wallpaper in two bedrooms, the hallway, and foyer and primed and painted the walls and ceilings in those areas. They also primed and painted the living room and dining room walls. They primed and painted interior doors.

Mr. Lee’s crew did an excellent job from start to finish. They even rescheduled part of the job at my request because of another unrelated home project and were professional and courteous. They were punctual, hard-working, and clean. They performed above and beyond expectations. I would definitely refer them to friends and use them again for future painting projects.

I needed the outside of my house, garage, and shed painted before selling it. It is original wood from 1926 with lots of paned windows.

Mr. Lee’s team, father and two sons, showed up everyday at 8 and worked all day long with only a short lunch break. They were extremely professional and quiet. I was home packing the entire time and the only time I knew they were there was when they were sanding or pressure washing. They even fixed my picket fence that needed some pickets replaced and painted, and the fence was not part of the job. How is that for going the extra mile ! My house looked like new when they were finished and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their work. I would recommend Mr. Lee and his painters to anybody.  A+++

They painted the exterior of my 2-bedroom house and attached garage, making minor repairs to the stucco and wood trim as necessary, and re-stained my wood deck.

Overall, they were very careful and thorough and would have finished right on time if the project hadn’t been interrupted by a series of storms. James Lee came to look at my house and gave me a very competitive estimate on the spot. The two painters who did the work were really nice guys – punctual, courteous, hard working and good humored. They were also very patient with me as I tested different colors for the trim and different stains for the deck. I was impressed with the care they showed for my house and yard.

Description Of Work:

House Painting Inc. repaired and painted our 1400 sq ft. home. They spent 3 days sanding, washing, and re-caulking the house, and then another 3 days painting.

Mr. Lee came out the same day I called him for an estimate. He was very proud of his company – and I see now with good reason. Song and A did the whole job themselves. They always showed up promptly at 8 and diligently worked the whole day. They both had extremely high standards with aesthetics, and repaired several areas of the house that I didn’t realize would be included in the job (ie: repairing rotting wood, sanding down metal railing and doors, actually re-doing the wood frames around our windows because one didn’t look good, etc.) They helped us decide what paint to use by painting large areas of our different options so we could see what it would look like throughout the day. Both were very considerate with anything on or around the house. They carefully moved all our plants, lighting and furniture, then carefully put everything back EXACTLY as it was. They give you your house back, only now it’s beautifully repaired and painted!

Exterior of my Spanish style house was prepped and painted. I had some growing vines on parts of the house that had to be taken down and sanded/torched. I also had my back wooden desk cleaned, treated and sealed.

The painting crew of three (father and two sons) were very respectful, clean and worked hard for nine days, absolutely great. There was an issue with scheduling when they did not show up on the day set, but I think it was the fault of the office girl calling but not leaving a message about the date setback. There was an accident with the Direct-TV line being cut when they tore down the vines on side of house, but luckily the Direct-TV guys were able to come the next day to repair. Overall, it took approximately 3 days to prep and powerwash the house, and 6 days to paint the walls and trim. Although the company usually use Dunn Edwards paint, they were very understanding and did not charge me extra when I insisted on a specific color from Benjamin Moore. Also, I was indecisive about my trim color but the crew was very patient and worked around that until I could tell them which color I liked! The House Painting crew did a great job!

They painted our combined kitchen and living room (open plan). They sanded rough spots, repaired water damage, thoroughly prepped. When it came to painting, they were careful about doing a good job. They painted the walls, ceiling, baseboards, trim of the big window and the front door. They cleaned up and even helped move furniture back.

Andy and his helper were punctual, professional and quiet as mice. They masked off neatly, kept the dust to a minimum, and did a good paint job. They gave the same exact bid as Brothers Co. but they used two guys instead of one and so they were able to get it done in half the time, which they did. I was also pleasantly surprised that they worked through Labor Day weekend. I’d use them again for sure.
